Organize With Lana is a professional home organizing firm serving the Peninsula and Silicon Valley. We work in beautiful homes, with clients who care deeply about how their spaces feel, and we leave every project better than we found it.

We're growing, and we're looking for people who see a chaotic pantry and feel a little thrill instead of dread.

What’s actually like

Our days are physical. We're on our feet, lifting bins, climbing ladders, folding, labeling, and problem solving in real time. It's demanding work.

It's also the kind of work where you see the result the same day. A client walks into a room she's been avoiding for two years, and her whole posture changes. That moment never gets old.

We work in small teams, usually two to four organizers, with one lead running the space and communicating with the client. Sessions typically run from morning to late afternoon. Most are indoors. Garages and storage spaces come up more in spring and summer.

Every new team member goes through training with us before they're on a job alone.

Support Organizer
Part-Time | 0-20 Hrs/Week | [Mon - Fri]

We're looking for a hard-working, highly organized individual to join our team of professional organizers long term. You'll work alongside a Lead Organizer, executing the plan for the space and keeping the session moving. Hours vary from 0-20 hrs/week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for sorting, moving, and staging items on site with direction from a Lead Organizer.

  • Group the client's belongings into clear categories so they can be edited and purged easily, then place items into the organizing systems we've designed.

  • Set up product on site: bins, baskets, drawer dividers, risers, and labels.

  • Help maintain a tidy and professional environment throughout the course of an organizing or unpacking job.

  • Plus: product pick-ups, returns, and donation drop-offs at local stores occasionally.

SCHEDULE

  • Needed basis, scheduled around client projects

  • Hours are mostly 9am-4pm, [Monday-Friday]

  • Hours are not guaranteed and vary from 0-20 hrs/week

  • Busier in spring and summer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available [weekdays] from 9am-4pm

  • Available to travel to jobs across the Peninsula and Silicon Valley (Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Los Altos, Woodside, and surrounding areas)

  • Live within a 30-minute radius of Palo Alto

  • Must tolerate typical household environments including pets, dust, smoke, or fragrances

  • Understanding of basic organizing techniques

  • Tech skills (i.e. smartphone, cloud based systems such as Google Workspace)

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and stand for long periods of time (6-7 hrs)

  • Must have reliable transportation (SUV is a plus for product pick-ups)

  • Discretion and professionalism in private homes. Many of our clients value their privacy.
